Dr Alkisti Zekeridou

Of Greek origin, Alkisti Zekeridou completed her dental school at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece from 2005 to 2011. During her studies, she simultaneously worked in the clinic alongside her Professor of Endodontics.

On completion of her studies, she then worked for a year as a volunteer at the dental polyclinic of Kavala General Hospital, mainly in the management of complex cases.

Alkisti Zekeridou then worked for a year as a general practitioner in the Netherlands before moving to Geneva.

She joined the Section de Médecine Dentaire at the University of Geneva to complete her post-graduate training in periodontology.
In 2017, she obtained a Master of Advanced Studies in Dentistry (MAS), option periodontology as well as the title of Swiss Specialist in Periodontology (SSP/SSO). She obtained her doctorate in the same field.

In addition to her current clinical activity as a specialist in periodontology, she holds a position in the Division of Periodontology at the Clinique Universitaire de Médecine Dentaire de Geneve (CUMD). She divides her time between research in the field of periodontology and implantology, treating patients and teaching students.

She is also the author of several scientific publications and an active member of the Association des Anciens Etudiants de Médecine Dentaire de Geneve (AAEMDG), the Société Suisse de Parodontologie (SSP), the “International Association of Dental Research” (IADR), the “European Association of Osseointegration” (EAO) and the “International Team for Implantology” (ITI).
