Fabienne Pernet Rieder was born in Geneva and did all her training there: from infant to post-graduate training in orthodontics.
Fabienne Pernet Rieder graduated in Dental Medicine in 2006 from the University of Geneva with the Prix d’Excellence from the SSO (Swiss Society of Odontostomatology).
She then spent 2 years working in German-speaking Switzerland (Interlaken and Biel) to acquire a good command of general dentistry as well as to learn Swiss German. She then returned to practice orthodontics in private practice in Lausanne for 2 years.
From 2010 to 2014, she completed the 4-year full-time postgraduate training course at the University of Geneva and obtained the title of SSO Specialist in Orthodontics (CH) in 2016. At the same time, she obtained her PhD title in 2013 and her MAS (Master of Advanced Studies) title in 2014.
From 2014 to 2017, she participated in the postgraduate teaching of lingual orthodontics, bone anchorage and adult orthodontics in the Division of Orthodontics at the University of Geneva (Maître Assistante).
Since 2018, while continuing her continuing education, she has been practicing in her own orthodontic practice in Morges in parallel with her activity at the Centre Médico-Dentaire de Balexert.
