Dr Jihane Ayass

Jihane Ayass has always had a passion for orthodontics. In 2000, she obtained her degree in dentistry from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), Belgium.

After a post-graduate certificate in oral biology and anatomical-physiology from the University of Paris VII, she began the 4-year orthodontic specialization cycle at ULB, at the end of which she received the title of Specialist in Orthodontics and Dento-Facial Orthopedics.

After several years of private and university hospital practice, she decided in 2007 to move back to Geneva to be with her family.

Desiring to practice high-level orthodontics, Jihane Ayass found the Centre médico-dentaire C1, founded by Andreas Fiebig and Werner Haefliger, an environment that enabled her to practice her profession to its high standards. There, she took up a position as a specialist-collaborator, then as head of the orthodontics department.

In 2012, Jihane Ayass obtained her certification with the Swiss Invalidity Insurance (A.I.), giving her responsibility for assessing the A.I.’s assumption of responsibility for cases with severe deformities.

Also in 2012, Jihane Ayass joined the team at Centre Médico-Dentaire Balexert, whose goals of excellence are in line with her vision of orthodontics. Jihane Ayass is a member of the SSO (Société Suisse d’Odontostomatologie).

Parallel to her private practice, continues to perfect her skills with numerous training courses, including lingual orthodontics with Dr. Wiechmann in 2008, occlusodontics in 2010 with Dr. Abjean, Invisalign in 2012. Jihane Ayass also closely follows the latest developments in her specialty, particularly in digital techniques, and implements them when they are validated.
